As Janhvi Kapoor concluded her walk on the ramp, she was seen embracing a couple in the front row, which piqued the audience's interest regarding their identities. This heartfelt moment has also been shared in a video on social media.
The couple in question was none other than Mona and Russell Mehta, the parents of Shloka Mehta. Russell Mehta is a prominent businessman, known for owning Rosy Blue India, one of India's leading diamond manufacturing companies. His daughter, Shloka Mehta, is the elder daughter-in-law of the affluent couple Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
On Saturday, Janhvi Kapoor graced the runway for Rahul Mishra’s collection, AFEW, during Lakme Fashion Week. She made her entrance in an elegant, floor-length robe coat, showcasing powerful poses before revealing a stunning black gown beneath. The bodycon dress, adorned with a shimmering Bandhani print on a solid black background, beautifully blended traditional and modern aesthetics.

Shortly, Janhvi will appear alongside Ram Charan in his highly anticipated 16th film, now titled Peddi. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and features notable performances from Shiva Raj Kumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu. Peddi is produced under the banner of Sukumar Writings, founded by director Sukumar, with music composed by the Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman.
Additionally, she will star in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which also features Varun Dhawan. This film, written and directed by Sashank Khaitan, is set to be released in theaters on September 12. It includes a talented cast comprising Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. The production team includes Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
