Actor Janhvi Kapoor's partner, Shikhar Pahariya, responded to a troll who made a derogatory remark about his caste on a previous post. He utilized his Instagram stories to address the troll, emphasizing the importance of self-education and urging them to overcome their ignorance.

Last year during Diwali, Shikhar shared charming images of himself and Janhvi alongside some pets on his Instagram account. Recently, a troll commented on the post, stating, “Lekin tu toh Dalit hai (But, you're a Dalit).” In response, Shikhar addressed the comment by sharing it on his Instagram stories, remarking, “It is truly disheartening that in 2025, individuals like you still possess such a narrow and regressive mindset.”

He emphasized that India's true strength lies in its diversity and inclusivity, stating, “Diwali symbolizes light, progress, and unity—principles that seem to be beyond your limited understanding. The essence of India has always been its rich diversity and inclusiveness, which you evidently fail to comprehend. Instead of perpetuating ignorance, perhaps you should invest time in self-education, as the only thing genuinely 'untouchable' here is the caliber of your thinking.”

In November of the previous year, Shikhar shared images to extend Diwali greetings to his fans, stating, “May the coming of Lord Ram usher in a year filled with light and prosperity. May goodness triumph over evil, and may we possess the strength and wisdom to consistently choose the path of righteousness. Those who can assist, uplift, and safeguard those in need are truly blessed.”

Who is Shikhar Pahariya?

For those unfamiliar, Shikhar is the grandson of Sushilkumar Shinde, a former Union Home Minister. His mother, Smruti Shinde, is an actress, and his older brother, Veer Pahariya, recently made his Bollywood debut in the film Sky Force, which also featured Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan.

Although Shikhar and Janhvi have not publicly confirmed their relationship, they frequently appear together at various events. Janhvi was last seen in Devara: Part 1 alongside Jr NTR and is currently working on several projects, including RC 16 with Ram Charan, Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan.
