The upcoming thriller drama, Ulajh has been making rounds since the beginning of 2024. The craze skyrocketed after the release of the trailer, where we get to see some gripping scenes of Janhvi Kapoor as ambitious Suhana Bhatia getting entangled in a web of deceit and betrayals. The trailer proves that the 27-year-old actress is absolutely capable of doing art films like Ulajh. Despite being insanely trolled for nepotism, Janhvi never stopped taking challenging roles.

Janhvi Kapoor's confession about taking risks

Recently in an interview with India Today, the Bawal-actress publicly stated that Ulajh is definitely a “high-risk” film, and he eagerly hopes that the thriller drama might influence her acting career one day.

She also accepted that it would have been easier for her to reach the glamour and guaranteed success of she would have chosen commercial projects, but still she chose Ulajh. “I made a conscious decision a couple of years ago to challenge myself and surprise myself and try something different even though the risks and stakes are much higher”, she said.

The Mili-actress further shared that she often wonders about the contrast between her Instagram persona and her career, admitting that she's somewhat oblivious to the Industry’s perceptions. However, with each new film, she gains confidence in her abilities, and trusts herself more and more to deliver exactly the work that filmmakers expect from her.
