Jaideep Ahlawat received the Best Actor Male (Critics) award for his performance in Paatal Lok Season 2. In the series, he portrays Hathiram Chaudhary, an inspector at the Jamna Par Police Station in Delhi. The narrative centers around his investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a daily wage worker, which is intricately linked to the murder of a notable individual from Nagaland in the second season.

Reflecting on his achievement of the Best Actor Male (Critics) award at the OTTplay Awards 2025, Jaideep Ahlawat expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank you Sudip bhai (Sudip Sharma) and Avinash (Avinash Arun) for making my job easy. I'm blessed to receive this award today. Thank you so much, OTTplay."

Jaideep Ahlawat is preparing for the upcoming release of The Family Man Season 3, in which he portrays the primary antagonist alongside Manoj Bajpayee. In a recent interview, Sudip Sharma, the creator of Paatal Lok, expressed his enthusiasm for the possibility of developing a third season of the highly acclaimed series, although no official confirmation has been made yet.
