Jaideep Ahlawat is riding the wave of success with his new web series, Paatal Lok Season 2, and he recently shared his thoughts on the knife attack involving Saif Ali Khan. On January 16, an intruder broke into Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan's home in Bandra. During the attempted burglary, Saif was attacked multiple times with a knife. Thankfully, an auto driver helped rush him to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra in the early hours. This shocking event has sparked a lot of conversations among the public. While the investigation is still ongoing, Jaideep mentioned that he reached out to both Kareena and Saif after the incident.

Jaideep has teamed up with Bebo before in Jaane Jaan, where Vijay Varma was also part of the cast. The two actors get along really well. In a recent chat with ANI, Jaideep, who is back as Hathi Ram Chaudhary in Paatal Lok S2, mentioned that he didn’t talk to the couple directly but did send them a message. He said, "I didn’t have a direct conversation, but I did message them."

He also asked the media to respect their privacy and allow them some space to deal with what happened. He mentioned, "It's really strange to see... I just watched a video of a reporter following the actor's car in a reckless manner to get footage... that's super dangerous. Everyone should think a little about this."

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's unique ask

On January 21, Saif was released from the hospital and headed back home. Shortly after, he and Kareena asked the paparazzi to stop taking photos of their kids, Taimur and Jeh, citing security concerns. They even added extra fencing to their windows to prevent anyone from getting into their house through the balcony.

Saif reportedly got hurt near his spine, and they found a 2.5-inch blade at the scene. He had to go through both neurosurgery and plastic surgery. Right now, the Mumbai Police are looking into the incident, and they recently arrested a guy linked to the attack.

On the day he was released from the hospital, Saif Ali Khan took a moment to meet the auto driver who brought him there. He expressed his gratitude and handed him some cash. Saif also promised to lend a hand whenever the driver needed it. The auto driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, shared with PTI, "He (Saif) introduced me to his mother (Sharmila Tagore), and I touched her feet. He gave me (money) whatever he felt was right, and said whenever I need help, he will be there."
