A recent report has stated that a documentary series concerning conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar is being developed at an 'OTT giant'. The creators are reportedly attempting to involve actress Jacqueline Fernandez in the project, considering her alleged connection to Sukesh's illicit activities. The conman asserts that Jacqueline is his girlfriend and persistently sends her gifts, corresponding with her from within the prison.

Jacqueline approached for series on Sukesh

As per a report in Mid-Day, a knowledgeable source mentioned, “She is the only star who can narrate firsthand about what truly happened. Her honesty could significantly influence the storytelling. They are constructing a narrative that’s part psychological thriller and part societal case analysis. Their intention is to contrast Sukesh’s courtroom drama with his alleged tactics such as wiretapping, high-end bribery, and dubious real estate transactions. ”

Has Jacqueline Fernandez agreed, however? The report indicates that the actress is “considering the opportunity” but is careful about “how her story will be portrayed”. She has yet to commit to the creators of the docu-series.

The report further states that the producers aim to begin filming by mid-2026 after conducting thorough research throughout the year. The entire pre-production process is being overseen by legal teams due to 'complicated clearances and ongoing court proceedings'.

Jacqueline and Sukesh's connect

Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a suspected fraudster, has been incarcerated since 2015, facing accusations related to a significant multi-crore scam. During the investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) into his purported offenses, a link to Jacqueline Fernandez surfaced. Sukesh has asserted that he is in a relationship with the actress. Several images of the pair together also surfaced online following these assertions. However, Jacqueline has refuted Sukesh's claims, stating that he misled her into thinking he was a bona fide businessman. Additionally, she has alleged that Sukesh employed threatening tactics to intimidate her, causing her to feel unsettled and distressed.
