Kim reportedly died at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where she had been receiving treatment. She had previously opted out of performing at the IPL ceremony in Guwahati due to her mother's declining health. A source close to Jacqueline mentioned that Kim was in the ICU, and the family was waiting for updates from her medical team. Despite the emotional strain, Jacqueline and her father were seen entering a building for Kim’s funeral earlier today, demonstrating their resilience.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who worked with Jacqueline in the film Fateh, also came to pay his respects. The two starred together in this action thriller, which marked Sonu's directorial debut and was inspired by real-life cybercrime incidents during the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting their strong on-screen chemistry.
