Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor came together after several years, albeit not in the manner one might hope. The two actors were photographed in a single frame, seated in adjacent rows at an event held at their children's school, Dhirubhai International School, located in Mumbai.

A paparazzi Instagram account posted images of Kareena positioned diagonally in a row in front of Shahid during the event. Shahid was dressed in a white T-shirt layered with a blue denim shirt, while Kareena opted for a rust-coloured top for the occasion. In the captured photos and videos, there was no indication that they acknowledged one another. However, both were seen smiling, albeit not at each other, but in response to their children's performance on stage.

In a recently circulated video, Kareena is observed enthusiastically cheering for her elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, during his stage performance. She records the moment using her smartphone, accompanied by her close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar, who is seated beside her. Notably, their children—Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan's Taimur and Jeh, along with Karan's Yash and Roohi—are all classmates. Additionally, Shahid Kapoor's daughter, Misha, attends the same school. The footage reveals that the actor appeared somewhat disinterested in Taimur's performance.

The gathering at Dhirubhai International School saw the presence of Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and their daughter Suhana Khan, as they supported his younger son AbRam Khan during his performance on stage alongside Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan was also in attendance with his father, Amitabh Bachchan. Additionally, Genelia D'Souza and her husband, Riteish Deshmukh, were observed at the event.

Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship for several years during the 2000s, ultimately ending their romance in 2007. Following their breakup, Kareena entered into a relationship with Saif, whom she wed in 2012. In contrast, Shahid married Mira Rajput in 2015.
