On Wednesday, Crunchyroll and Variety made a significant announcement, disclosing that singer J Balvin will join the voice cast of the popular anime in a pivotal role.
The trailblazer of Latin music has previously worked alongside prominent figures in the music industry, including Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, and Cardi B. His sixth studio album, "Rayo," has recently received a nomination for a Grammy Award, adding to his collection of honours from the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and Latin Grammys.

J Balvin's character in the upcoming Solo Leveling adaptation has not yet been disclosed, as information regarding his voice-acting role remains confidential. The English dubbed version of the anime's second season commenced streaming on Crunchyroll on January 18. Aleks Le returned to voice the lead character, Sung Jinwoo, while the original version debuted on January 4, 2025.
