It is official! Actors Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Sobhita Dhulipala are engaged! While rumours were floating since Thursday morning that the duo is set to get engaged later on in the day, Naga Chaitanya's father and actor Nagarjuna Akkineni took to social media to share photographs from teh ceremony, confirming the news.

On Thursday, veteran Telugu actor Nagarjuna took to social media to share the news that his son, Naga Chaitanya, and actor Sobhita Dhulipala are officially engaged to each other. The actor also shared photos of the newly-engaged couple.

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!" the actor posted on X.

In the pictures, Naga Chaitanya is seen clad in a white silk shirt, while Sobhitha is seen wearing a pink silk saree that she paired with light jewellery. Nagarjuna is seen hugging the couple and all 3 of them look happy and radiant, with wide smiles on their faces.

Rumours have been rife for some time now that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been dating. Now, Nagarjuna's confirmation has made it official. Naga Chaitanya allegedly started dating the Made in Heaven actress months after his separation from Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

It is to be noted that both Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have not opened up about each other or their relationship status so far. But the pair have been seen together by the paparazzi at various events. The upcoming wedding will be Naga Chaitanya's second. He was earlier married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, the pair called it quits after four years of marriage.
