Vijay Deverakonda is poised to captivate audiences with his forthcoming film, VD12. The teaser is slated for release on 12 February, and to heighten the anticipation for this eagerly awaited project, a source has disclosed that Ranbir Kapoor has lent his voice for the teaser.

Ranbir lends his voice to the VD12 teaser

An industry insider has revealed that Vijay Deverakonda is preparing for the highly awaited VD12, scheduled for release this year. Notably, Ranbir Kapoor has lent his voice to the VD12 teaser, which was recorded in Mumbai yesterday. This film signifies Vijay's return to more intense roles after his performance in Arjun Reddy.

About VD12

Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, VD12 is described as a spy action thriller featuring Vijay in the role of a police officer. In July of the previous year, two images of Vijay from the film surfaced online. One photograph, taken from a distance, depicted him riding as a passenger on a motorcycle along the beach. The other image showed him gazing into the camera, apparently amidst a village festival. The first photograph seemed to be captured during an outdoor filming session, while the second appeared to have been obtained from a monitor on set. In both images, he presents a rugged appearance, characterized by cropped hair and a beard. The film is slated for release this year, with the official title expected to be announced on 12 February.

Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming projects

Ranbir Kapoor is set to appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of Ramayana, where he will take on the role of Lord Ram, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, and Yash portraying Ravana. The film will also feature Sunny Deol in a significant role and is scheduled for release in two parts, with the first part expected to debut in 2026. Furthermore, Ranbir is involved in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in which he will act alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
