Ira Khan, the daughter of actor Aamir Khan, and her husband Nupur Shikhare recently marked their first wedding anniversary with a series of playful photographs. Ira shared a collection of images on Instagram showcasing moments between herself and Nupur.

In the initial photograph, the couple is seen seated on a balcony, exchanging smiles and gazes. The subsequent image captures Ira kissing Nupur, who is making a humorous expression. Another picture features Nupur cuddling next to Ira, while they both strike amusing poses for a selfie.

Ira shares new pics with Nupur

One of the photos depicts Nupur near a phone, with Ira sitting on the floor, leaning against the balcony. Another image shows them sitting back to back. The final photograph features both of them making exaggerated angry faces while looking at each other.

In these images, Nupur Shikhare is dressed in a black kurta-pyjama paired with a yellow jacket, while Ira is adorned in a printed grey saree. She simply captioned the post, "Happy Anniversary, my love" accompanied by red heart emojis.

About Ira and Nupur

Ira and Nupur exchanged vows in a private ceremony on January 3, 2024. Initially, they formalized their relationship through a registered marriage at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, followed by a Christian wedding ceremony in Udaipur. The celebrations were attended by close friends and family, culminating in a lavish reception in Mumbai.

The event was attended by notable Bollywood personalities, including Saira Banu, Dharmendra, Rekha, Jaya Bachchan, Hema Malini, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif, and Esha Deol, among others. Aamir Khan and his family were elegantly dressed for the occasion, and Ira's cousin, actor Imran Khan, was also present.

During the wedding festivities, the entire Khan family posed for photographs. Aamir Khan's ex-wife, Kiran Rao, was absent due to illness. Aamir was photographed with his first wife, Reena Dutta, their son Junaid Khan, nephew Imran Khan, sister Nikhat Khan, son Azad Rao Khan, and Nupur's family.

Nupur and Ira are said to have first encountered each other during the Covid-19 lockdown, when Nupur was engaged in training Aamir Khan while Ira was residing with her father. The two celebrated their engagement with a party in November 2023.
