The 2024 International Emmy Awards have nominated The Night Manager, Sandeep Modi's (showrunner and director) Hotstar Special, for Best Drama Series. Telling the story of the last confrontation between Shelly Rungta and Shaan Sengupta, the series is an exciting thriller encased in opulent drama and beautiful scenery.

Bringing John le Carré's story to Hindi

Sandeep Modi (showrunner and creative director) and Priyanka Ghose (assistant director) bring John le Carré's The Night Manager to life in Hindi. With an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee, and Ravi Behl, this show promises to deliver on its promise of opulent drama and breathtaking sights.

The most difficult part of making The Night Manager, according to director and showrunner Sandeep Modi, was reimagining the plot so that it would resonate with viewers.
