Actor Ram Charan celebrated his 40th birthday on March 27, surrounded by family and friends. Lakshmi Manchu shared exclusive photos from the birthday celebration, which was organized by his wife, Upasana Konidela, on her Instagram stories.

In the highlights of Ram Charan’s 40th birthday celebration, Lakshmi posted several images featuring herself with Ram, Upasana, and his sister, Sushmita Konidela. One notable photo shows her and Ram posing in a transparent photo booth adorned with the phrases ‘global star’ and ‘special birthday edition.’ In her birthday wishes, she expressed, “Happy birthday, you beautiful human, the world is a better place with you in it.”

A different image provides a more distinct perspective of the booth, which has been crafted to resemble a magazine cover. Ram, Lakshmi, and Sushmita are seen posing together for a photograph that she shared, captioning it, “Posers. Charan appy burthina Roju.”

Lakshmi shared a selfie featuring herself in a white outfit adorned with pearls alongside Upasana, who was dressed in pink. She commended Upasana for her excellent hosting of the event, stating, “Hostess with the mostess. These two days were absolutely beautiful. @upasanakaminenikonidela, you truly excelled!” Fans expressed their excitement upon seeing an exclusive look at the celebration when Upasana reposted the image on her Instagram stories.

Recent work

Following the success of the 2022 blockbuster RRR and the disappointing performance of Acharya, Ram appeared in Shankar’s political drama Game Changer this year. Despite featuring Kiara Advani, the film did not resonate with audiences and garnered mixed reviews. Anticipation was high for this release, as it marked Ram's first solo project since the 2019 failure Vinaya Vidheya Rama, but it ultimately did not meet expectations.

Currently, Ram is filming Buchi Babu Sana’s Peddi alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The cast also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Additionally, he has agreed to star in a new project directed by Sukumar, following their successful collaboration on the 2018 film Rangasthalam.
