Superstar Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Ahmedabad last year to pursue a BPGP MBA. She has recently provided a glimpse into her experiences at what she describes as the 'best campus' alongside her friends from the institution.

Navya Naveli Nanda has posted photographs featuring her time with the 'best individuals' from IIM

Navya took to Instagram to convey her appreciation for the IIM Ahmedabad campus and the individuals she encountered there. Accompanying her post with photographs of her classmates, she wrote, "Best campus with the best people." In the images, Navya appeared in a casual outfit, consisting of a black sweatshirt and brown trousers, as she posed alongside her peers. She also provided a glimpse of the impressive IIM Ahmedabad campus.

Upon announcing her enrollment at IIM Ahmedabad on social media, some users remarked that her program did not constitute a "real MBA," expressing surprise that a celebrity offspring gained admission to such a prestigious Indian institution. In response, Professor Promila Agarwal from IIM defended Navya.

The professor addressed X and stated, "The acceptance rate for this program is low, similar to others. Despite attempts to undermine her interview and CV, she successfully met the cut-off criteria. For an extended period, there has been a discussion in India regarding the reasons elite families seek higher education abroad. Why do they not pursue studies in Indian institutions? The admission of one woman to IIMA for an online MBA has caused considerable agitation."

Navya discusses her decision to pursue a career outside of acting

Navya Naveli Nanda, who concluded the second season of her podcast, What The Hell Navya, last year, has previously expressed her lack of interest in pursuing an acting career. In an interview with Brut India, she stated, “To be honest, I don’t think I am particularly skilled in that area. I believe one should not engage in an activity merely for the sake of it; rather, it should stem from genuine passion. Acting does not ignite that passion in me. I am currently engaged in pursuits that I truly enjoy, and I doubt I would excel in acting. My talents are better suited to other fields.”

Conversely, Navya's brother, Agastya Nanda, has already made his debut in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, where he stars alongside Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Vedang Raina. He is now preparing for his theatrical debut in Sriram Raghavan's Ekkis, which features Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Simar Bhatia, the niece of Akshay Kumar. The film is set to be released later this year.
