Industry on Amazon MiniTV introduced many faces, but two were the very leads. One among them is Gagan Arora and the other, Lakshya Kochhar. The latter, in a sense, plays the antagonist but he actually is a star kid on the show who obviously has contacts everywhere. This includes working with Chunky Panday, who plays a filmmaker on the show. Lakshya spoke about the actor fondly while also talking about his own character, Rocky.

“We've all grown up watching Chunky Panday, and the characters he's played have always stayed with us. People have loved him across generations. There's an undeniable likability about him, both on and off camera,” Lakshya said while heaping praises on the veteran actor best remembered for his role as Aakhri Pasta (with the iconic dialogue, Mama Mia) from the Housefull franchise.

Further talking about their collaboration, Lakshya said that ‘fantastic person’ Chunky brings about freshness and spontaneity to every scene. Calling himself fortunate for the opportunity, Lakshya enjoyed exchanging notes with the veteran actor.

Interestingly, Lakshya himself is not a star kid, while Rocky is. Lakshya has a fairly good run in the industry nonetheless with a debut like Akshay Kumar’s Gold (2018) and bagging Bambai Meri Jaan, featuring Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary in the lead roles. The one thing that Lakshya found common with his character is the struggle. They both had their own struggles and insecurities. “What appears comfortable and rosy on the outside often hides constant inner battles,” he said, adding that everybody has to fight to survive and find victory. He points out that it is even more so for star kids because their fight is to prove what they bring to the table apart from their family branding.
