However, this was not always the case. Several decades ago, star kids were celebrated and admired for their esteemed lineage. It was during this period that the first prominent star kid in Bollywood emerged, who would ultimately become one of the most successful figures in the industry.

The Kapoor family is frequently regarded as the most significant and influential film dynasty in India. Notably, Time Magazine recognized his performance in Awaara as one of the "Top-Ten Greatest Performances of All Time in World Cinema."

Nevertheless, the hallmark of Raj Kapoor's cinematic legacy may well be his showmanship. Together with Yash Chopra and Manmohan Desai, he established a blueprint for grand cinema, where each scene was a spectacle and musical numbers were lavish productions. Over time, numerous filmmakers adapted this framework, giving rise to a genre of masala entertainment that flourished in Bollywood and beyond.
