Spotify unveils sixth edition of Wrapped in India

The year 2024 marked a significant milestone for Punjabi music, as Karan Aujla (#11), Diljit Dosanjh (#14), and Badshah (#22) secured their positions among the Top 25 Wrapped artists in India.

I-Pop emerged as the premier destination for Indian audiences, featuring popular tracks like "Mahiye Jinna Sonha" by Darshan Raval, "Husn" by Anuv Jain, and "Heeriye" (featuring Arijit Singh) by Jasleen Royal, among others, which ascended to the top of the charts.

Listeners showed a strong preference for horror and true crime, as well as self-help podcasts.

Podcasts created by local talents such as Ranveer Allahbadia, Raj Shamani, and Gourab Tapadar ranked among the most widely consumed in India.
