Ranveer's inappropriate remark, “watch parents have s*x,” during the show has ignited significant controversy, leading to official complaints against the program, its creators, and the organizers. Numerous politicians have criticized Ranveer Allahbadia for his offensive comment. Additionally, director Imtiaz Ali and actor Manoj Bajpayee have expressed their views on the unfolding situation.
Did Imtiaz Ali call Ranveer Allahbadia 'immature'?
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, the director of Jab We Met remarked that the errors made by individuals should not be taken too seriously, describing them as 'immature'. He stated, "The fame that comes quickly can also fade just as fast. Those who find joy in something should pursue that. Indecency is a topic that, understandably, anyone would deem inappropriate, but when people act immaturely, their mistakes should not be taken too seriously."
Manoj Bajpayee also shared his thoughts, saying, "Nowadays, success comes swiftly, but the real enjoyment lies in retaining that success so we can appreciate it later. Therefore, it is crucial for those who are achieving success, especially the youth, to be aware of their surroundings and understand the context—this is very important. That is why I advise, read the newspaper, my friend."
It has been reported that the controversial episode has been removed from YouTube following a notice from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

Ranveer Allahbadia posed a provocative question during the episode, asking, "Would you prefer to witness your parents engage in sexual activity for the remainder of your life or participate once to bring it to a permanent halt?" This specific segment has gained significant attention online. Presently, an investigation is underway, with Ranveer being scrutinized alongside Samay, Ashish, and Apoorva. Following the escalation of the controversy, Ranveer issued an apology video, describing his remark as 'inappropriate.'
