On his 60th birthday, actor Aamir Khan publicly acknowledged his relationship with Gauri Spratt. In a conversation with ETimes, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt shared his thoughts on Aamir finding a partner at this stage in his life.

Vikram Bhatt reflected on how the nature of relationships evolves over time. He remarked, "If I can marry at 50, why shouldn't Aamir Khan find love at 60? Age is merely a number. There is no specific age for discovering happiness. As we age, the focus shifts from the thrill of romance and physical attraction to companionship and the desire to avoid loneliness."

He continued, "Having someone to hold your hand, someone who understands you, and someone who reassures you that everything will be alright is invaluable. I am genuinely happy for Aamir if he has found that in someone. He is a wonderful person and truly deserves happiness."

About Aamir and Gauri

Recently, Aamir and Gauri were seen together in public for the first time. In the photographs, Aamir was seen exiting a building with a smile for the photographers, waiting for Gauri, and then promptly escorting her to their vehicle.

During a casual meet-and-greet event, Aamir introduced his partner to the press. "I thought it would be a nice opportunity for you all to meet her, and we won't have to keep hiding. She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night. She is from Bangalore, and we have known each other for 25 years. However, we truly connected a year and a half ago when she happened to be in Mumbai. We met by chance, stayed in touch, and everything developed naturally," he stated, as reported by news agency PTI.

About Aamir's relationships

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and later to Kiran Rao. He has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, from his first marriage with Reena. Aamir and Kiran, who married in 2005, separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad.

Aamir's next film

In the upcoming months, Aamir is set to star in Sitaare Zameen Par. The film is anticipated to include Genelia in a significant role. It is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Christmas this year.
