Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and his former spouse Amrita Singh, has made his acting debut in the film Nadaaniyan. In this project, he appeared alongside Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. Following the film's release on an OTT platform, a purported direct message from Ibrahim to a Pakistani film critic has gained significant attention on social media. This critic is said to have posted a negative review of Nadaaniyan and made an unflattering comment regarding Khan's looks.

Did Ibrahim Ali Khan threaten a film critic?

A film critic by the name of Tamur Iqbal posted a screenshot of his Instagram conversation with Ibrahim Ali Khan, an actor from Nadaaniyan. The screenshot purportedly reveals a direct message from Ibrahim to the critic.

In response to Iqbal's review of Nadaaniyan, Khan reportedly commented, "Tamur, almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name right. But guess what you’re missing? His face. You are an ugly piece of trash. Since you cannot keep your opinions to yourself, don’t bother sharing them; they are as irrelevant as you are. You wretched individual, I pity you and your family – and if I encounter you on the streets one day, I will ensure you leave looking worse than you do now – you disgraceful piece of sc** (sic)."

In a recent social media post, a film critic shared a screenshot, asserting that it represented Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim, expressing a 'fierce reaction' to the critic's review of the film Nadaaniyan. The critic stated, "Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan’s remarkable fierce response from his verified account on my Instagram story after I ridiculed his debut film Nadaaniyan (sic)."

For those unfamiliar, Ibrahim appeared in Shauna Gautam's romantic drama Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi, portraying the character Arjun Mehta. The film was released on Netflix on March 7, 2025, and received a range of responses from both critics and viewers.

Ibrahim Ali Khan is set to collaborate with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for an upcoming film. Tentatively titled Sarzameen, the project will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol. As of now, the official release date for Ibrahim's next film has yet to be revealed.
