Before Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, made his debut in Netflix's Nadaaniyan, there were whispers about him dating Palak Tiwari, the daughter of Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary. In a chat with Filmfare, Ibrahim opened up about the dating speculation and set the record straight on whether they were just friends or something more.

Ibrahim was asked about a certain Miss Palak Tiwari, but he seemed hesitant to dive into the topic. He simply described her as a "good friend" and mentioned that she was "sweet." He stated, “She’s a good friend. Yeah, she’s sweet. That’s all.” The two have been seen together in public on several occasions, and there have even been rumors about them vacationing together in the Maldives and Goa. Palak has consistently said in interviews that they are just friends.

Ibrahim also shared that he had a crush on Deepika Padukone when he was younger. He recalled realizing his dad, Saif, was famous while he was working with Deepika. “I remember being around seven or eight years old. My dad was filming Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal in the UK. What a movie! And I thought, wow, Deepika Padukone. That’s when I had my first crush. I was so young and totally obsessed with her. I just wanted to see Deepika. That’s when it hit me that my dad is a big actor, especially since he was doing a movie with her.”

Future tasks

Ibrahim made his acting debut in 2025 with the romantic comedy Nadaaniyan, directed by Shauna Gautam, which premiered on Netflix. The movie featured Khushi Kapoor in a leading role but received negative feedback for its weak storyline and performances. He has also filmed a project alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is currently collaborating with Sreeleela on another film. Meanwhile, Palak started her career with the web series Rosie and was recently seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
