Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film Nadaaniyan hit Netflix on March 7 and received a mix of reviews. Recently, the choreographer Vijay Ganguly shared his thoughts on collaborating with Ibrahim for the song Tirkit Dhoom. In a chat with Midday, Vijay praised Ibrahim for being incredibly dedicated on set, making sure he nailed the dance moves.

When discussing the choreography for Ibrahim's dance routine, Vijay mentioned, “Ibrahim may not be the best dancer, but he puts in a lot of effort. Despite his Nawabi background, he stays humble. Whenever he struggled with a step, my team and I made sure to help him nail it.” The performance showcases Ibrahim setting a festive vibe with his impressive moves, and Khushi joins in on the fun too.

Vijay also choreographed Ibrahim's sister, Sara Ali Khan, for the hit song Chaka Chak from the movie Atrangi Re, which was a massive success and earned him a Filmfare award. Additionally, he collaborated with Ibrahim's dad, Saif Ali Khan, on the film Chef. Reflecting on his experience with Saif, Vijay noted, “Saif has really grown as a dancer. He likes to joke around, but he still takes the time to learn his steps.”

Nadaaniyan is a unique concept

Nadaaniyan features Ibrahim as Arjun Mehta, a driven young man with dreams of studying law and landing a great job. Khushi portrays Pia Jai Singh, a girl who values love more than career ambitions. Their connection is quite unconventional, as Pia pays Arjun ₹25,000 each week to pretend to be her boyfriend.

As time goes on, their relationship gets more complicated, filled with drama, passion, and surprising feelings. The film also includes performances from Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, the movie is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment.
