'Pottel' is a rural action drama directed by Sahit Motkhuri with Yuva Chandra Krishna and Ananya Nagalla in the lead roles. Ajay is playing a powerful role in this film. The movie is being produced by Nishank Reddy Kudithi under Nisa Entertainments and Suresh Kumar Sadige under Pragya Sannidhi Creations. The promotional content of this movie has created a strong buzz. The songs rendered by Shekhar Chandra became a chart buster hit. 'Pottel' will release in theaters worldwide on October 25. On this occasion, heroine Ananya Nagalla shared the features of the film in a press conference.

How did 'Pottel' come to you? What are the elements that attracted you?

-First the producer called Nishank and said about this project. Later director Sahit told the story. The story is very good. But earlier I did a web series as a mother. Again, I thought it would be similar to Mother. But I liked the point of education in this. Such a good concept, I wanted to be a part of the story. After doing it, I came to know that there is a complete difference between the role I did in that series and the role in this one. There is no comparison.

How is your character in this?

- My character is very interesting in this. Not much was revealed in the trailer. Everyone will be surprised in the movie. My character's name in this is Buzzamma. Until now Mallesham is called Ananya and Vakil Saab Ananya. After this movie it will be known as Bujjamma Ananya. It creates such an impact. I have done this character as directed by the director.

- I have a very strong role in this. There is a scene where he kicks himself in the stomach. At first I was a bit confused as to how that scene would turn out. But Ajay is very senior. He made me very comfortable with the experience. Ajay is a very down to earth person. The presence of an experienced actor like him made this scene so comfortable. His character is a major highlight in this movie.

What are the reactions after the trailer release?

- Unexpectedly, many friends called and said that the trailer was broken. Apart from Vakil Saab, it is one of the best trailer of any movie I have ever come out with.

What is the justification for the title 'Pottel'?

-Pottel is an integral part of the story. Without Pottel this story would not exist. Pottel runs and hits a hill but does not stop. That is potel nature. Our hero character in this movie is also like that. There is no problem going forward but no going back. The title of this movie got justification in two ways.

- In this movie, each character has importance. Each character has an arc. I can proudly say that every actor who acted in this movie will have the best performance of their career. All gave best performance. I am saying this after watching the movie.

How was it working with Yuva?

- The young man is very talented. We both used to work in Infosys. He used to make short films there. I never spoke to him directly but I got inspired by his short films and fashion and entered the industry. He is playing a very strong character in this movie. The performance was amazing. The audience will definitely like it.

What are the major highlights of this movie?

- Story line is the main highlight of this movie. This is a movie that blends commercial elements, message and Telangana culture wonderfully. Loved the background music. The scenes between Yuva and Papa are very emotional due to the background music. Brings tears to the eyes. The performances of all the actors are amazing.

What is the learning experience in this movie?

- There was a feeling that if the story, character and director's approach were good, the film could be made. With this movie, it is understood that the producers are really important for the film. A project can be so amazing only if the producers are involved in what is required and how much should be put into the film. No one but the producers can take the film to the audience. It is understood with this movie. A story can reach the audience only if the director as well as the producer has fashion. Suresh and Nishank are a perfect combination. The combination of both of them made this movie so beautiful.

Mytri is releasing this movie, what is their reaction?

Maitri is very happy. He said that such a movie has not been released in Telugu recently.

Are you happy with the characters you are getting?

-When I entered the industry, I wanted to do some love stories and cute characters. But then I was not so aware. After Mallesham came, the audience saw a different look. As I am doing it as a mature person, I thought that I will give such a character. Happy about this. This connected me to a different set up audience. If such performance oriented rules are required, my name will be heard among two or three Telugu girls. That's why I think stories like Pottel are coming. I believe that my mother will feel very proud after watching this movie.
