Chhaava is a grand historical action film featuring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna. The narrative centers around Sambhaji Maharaj, the second sovereign of the Maratha Empire. The film is on the verge of grossing Rs. 400 crore, with expectations to reach this milestone by the fifteenth day of its release. In this context, John Abraham revealed that he contacted Vicky to commend him on the film's success.

John Abraham on Chhaava  

In a recent discussion with, John Abraham shared his thoughts on Chhaava, expressing his admiration for Vicky Kaushal’s performance.  

“The latest film making waves is Chhaava. I reached out to Vicky. I was genuinely pleased for him," John stated. He also noted that he congratulated producer Dinesh Vijan for the film’s significant impact. The actor expressed his excitement regarding the film's success, highlighting its role in drawing audiences back to cinemas.

John further commended Kaushal and Vijan for their dedication to impactful cinema, stating, "I am thankful for individuals like Vicky and Dinesh in the industry who are striving to effect change and produce quality films. I aspire to join their ranks." 

In addition to John, notable figures such as Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, and others have expressed their admiration for Chhaava.

In the meantime, Chhaava is set to premiere on Netflix following the conclusion of its theatrical run, typically within 45 to 60 days. The makers have yet to announce its official OTT release date.
