Hugh Jackman, the Hollywood superstar, officially acknowledged his relationship with fellow actor Sutton Foster back in January. Recently, a source shared with Radar Online that while Sutton is ‘totally in love’ with Hugh, she’s also feeling the stress that comes with being in the spotlight.

Sutton is feeling the heat from all the public attention

A friend of Sutton's shared with the news outlet, “Lately, the pressure is really getting to her, especially with Jackman busy filming The Death of Robin Hood in Northern Ireland. She’s feeling the strain of being in the public eye all the time, and there’s a lot of negativity coming from Hugh’s ex-wife’s side. Although she and Hugh are deeply in love, their relationship has faced its fair share of hurdles.”

Previously, Hugh’s first wife, Deborra-lee Furness, expressed her thoughts on his romance with Sutton, claiming she believed it would fizzle out within a year and wouldn’t last long. A source close to her mentioned, “He’s quite needy and will rely on Sutton for emotional support, but that’s just one of the reasons it’s unlikely to last.”

Sutton isn't really accustomed to this kind of attention

Furness's comments have really shaken things up for her. A friend mentioned, "Sutton's not really used to this kind of spotlight. Sure, she’s done the red carpet thing before, but Hugh’s global fame definitely takes it to another level."

Sutton and Hugh had been rumored to be an item for quite a while, but they only went public in January when they were seen enjoying a laid-back stroll in L.A. Soon after, their date night photos blew up on social media, showing them sharing a passionate kiss outside a burger place in San Fernando. There were also some cute shots of them chatting in a car.

For those who might not know, Hugh was previously married to actor-producer Deborra-lee Furness. They split after 27 years together, announcing their separation in a joint statement back in September 2023. In 2024, Sutton ended her marriage to screenwriter Ted Griffin after a decade together.
