After 30 years, Karan Arjun is ready to return to theatres. The film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the lead roles, was a huge success upon its theatrical release in 1995. As the film is gearing up for its release on the big screens once again, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently shared some insights from the shooting days. The filmmaker also revealed that his son and actor Hrithik Roshan assisted him with the film and shared some more behind-the-scenes stories. Read on to find out the details! 

Rakesh Roshan reveals he made Hrithik Roshan ‘uncomfortable’ on the sets of Karan Arjun 

In an interview with, Rakesh Roshan shared how he made Hrithik Roshan uncomfortable on the set of Karan Arjun. He revealed that the actor had a choice: going abroad for further studies, but when asked, he told his father that he wanted to become an actor. “Then I told him to join someone as an assistant, and he said he wanted to join me only,” Rakesh said.

“But I made him a little uncomfortable. Even though we had breakfast at the same table while going to the studio, I went in the car and he came by bus; on the way back also this would happen. He had to travel by train with the unit and stay with them in a room shared by four people." The filmmaker revealed that he travelled in this manner for three films, not just one.

When is Karan Arjun re-releasing in theatres? 

Meanwhile, released in 1995, Karan Arjun remains a classic Bollywood film and is now all set to re-release in theatres on November 22, 2024. Along with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the lead roles as reincarnated brothers, the film also stars Rakhee, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, and Amrish Puri in important roles.
