In 2011, Zoya Akhtar directed a film entitled Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which captivated audiences upon its release. The movie featured prominent performances by Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin. More than ten years have passed, yet the film continues to resonate with viewers. Although the creators have hinted at a sequel, no formal announcement has been made. However, it appears that the cast is preparing to present ZNMD 2. Recently, Farhan Akhtar shared an intriguing video alongside Abhay and Hrithik, suggesting the possibility of a sequel.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2 is happening?

Earlier today, January 22, Farhan posted a video on Instagram featuring Hrithik, Abhay, and himself, as they examined a manuscript entitled The Three Musketeers. In the film, the three characters are referred to as 'The Three Musketeers' during their time at school, due to their constant companionship. In his post, Akhtar included the caption, "@zoieakhtar do you see the signs??".

Shortly after the actor-director posted the video, the online community erupted with excitement. The comments section became inundated with requests for ZNMD 2. One fan suggested, "A road trip with their new wives." Another remarked, "We need ZNMD part 2 before GTA 6." A further comment stated, "STOP PULLING OUR LEG and RE-RELEASE the movie." Additionally, one user expressed, "We need ZNMD2; it's not a joke anymore."

Zoya Akhtar also chimed in, stating, "Yes, the universe is speaking to me." Rohit Saraf added, "Make it happen please!!!!!!!" Many others contributed by posting crying and heart emojis.

Farhan has recently disclosed the progress of ZNMD 2. In a conversation with Raj Shamani, he expressed, "I would go to great lengths to participate in it. Hrithik, Katrina, Abhay, and everyone else have urged Zoya to consider a new idea. To be fair, she is waiting for that moment of inspiration." 

The original film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, also featured Naseeruddin Shah and Deepti Naval. For those who have not had the opportunity to view ZNMD in theatres, it is available for streaming on Netflix.
