Recently, Rakesh Roshan announced that his son, who is also an actor, will take on the directorial role for the movie, accompanied by an emotional message on his Instagram account. In a recent interview, Hrithik expressed his feelings about directing Krrish 4, revealing that he is indeed feeling quite nervous.

At a recent fan meeting in Atlanta, USA, commemorating his 25-year career in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan discussed his aspirations to direct his long-awaited project, Krrish 4.

He expressed, “I previously directed the film Koyla, and now I am stepping behind the camera once more. I wish myself good luck. I cannot emphasize enough how anxious I am; I will require all the support I can receive.”

Rakesh Roshan recently posted on his Instagram, sharing a photo with Hrithik to celebrate the latter's directorial debut with Krrish 4. The filmmaker expressed, "Duggu, 25 years ago I introduced you as an actor, and now, after a quarter of a century, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers—Aditya Chopra and myself—to advance our most ambitious project, #Krrish4. I wish you immense success in this new role, along with my best wishes and blessings!"

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan expressed that Hrithik possesses a distinct and ambitious vision for advancing Krrish's journey with audiences over the coming decades. The esteemed filmmaker takes immense pride in witnessing his son step into the role of director for a film that holds significant meaning for their family.

"Krrish has captivated audiences around the globe, and now Hrithik is set to unveil the next chapters of this superhero saga, elevating the vision I established many years ago to new heights," he stated.

Rakesh Roshan further mentioned that Hrithik and Aditya Chopra aim to transform Krrish 4 into an unparalleled theatrical experience in India. Additionally, the portal disclosed that Krrish 4 is scheduled to begin production in early 2026.
