Hrithik Roshan brought pride to India by receiving an accolade at the Joy Awards, which took place in Riyadh last week. He was the sole Indian representative at this prestigious global event, alongside fellow actor Shraddha Kapoor.

Hrithik shares his ‘joy’

On Wednesday, Hrithik took to his Instagram account to share a Reel from the event. In his caption, he expressed, “It was a tremendous joy to attend the @joyawards 2025 alongside some of the finest talents from around the world! My gratitude to @turkialalshik for including me in this celebration of Global Entertainment and cinema.”

The video features esteemed Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman and renowned superstar Matthew McConaughey as they acknowledge the accolades they received during the ceremony. Dressed in a red suit paired with a black shirt, Hrithik also reflects on his trophy, stating, “This is truly overwhelming. I extend my thanks to Riyadh and all my fans present here. My appreciation goes to Joy Awards. This is genuinely a humbling experience for me.”

The online community responded with admiration for Hrithik in the comments section. Hrithik Roshan has recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years since his debut in the film industry with his father's romantic comedy, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. This film was re-released on January 9, coinciding with his 51st birthday. Additionally, Hrithik appeared in the Netflix India docuseries The Roshans, which explores the legacy and impact of his family in Hindi cinema, featuring his grandfather, the late music composer Roshan, his uncle Rajesh Roshan, his father Rakesh Roshan, and himself.

Looking ahead, he is set to appear in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming spy thriller War 2, as well as in the superhero film Krrish 4, where he will reprise his iconic character.
