Selena Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, launched their first collaborative album, titled “I Said I Love You First,” last week. This release marks Gomez’s first full-length project in five years. The album, featuring 14 tracks, made a remarkable debut, garnering 5.05 million streams on Global Spotify on its launch date, March 21.

In a touching post on Instagram, Selena Gomez expressed her joy about the album's release, stating, “Benny and I created countless wonderful memories while working on our new album. I wanted to share some of those stories and the journey behind these songs with you. I Said I Love You First – Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez is now available for digital download in my official store!”

The duo's journey began in 2015 when Blanco co-produced Gomez’s popular track “Same Old Love.” Their professional relationship blossomed into a strong friendship, which became romantic in 2023. After publicly announcing their relationship in 2024, Gomez shared news of their engagement in December of the previous year, posting a picture of her engagement ring on Instagram with the caption, "forever begins now."

It is worth noting that Benny Blanco is the creative force behind some of the most iconic chart-topping hits for artists such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kesha, and Eminem.
