Despite the challenges presented by Super Bowl 2025, Drake maintained his vibrant energy during a concert in Melbourne, Australia. Just hours prior to Kendrick Lamar's performance in New Orleans, the rapper made a notable contribution by distributing $45,000 to fans present at his show. This act of generosity was initiated when he noticed a woman in the audience displaying a sign that stated “Adonis for President,” referencing his 7-year-old son.

During the performance, the artist addressed a fan holding a sign for Adonis, stating, “You are expressing a great deal of affection for my son, so on behalf of both myself and Adonis, we will be providing you with $25,000.” He also acknowledged another sign in the audience that read, “Kiss me, it’s my birthday.” The rapper remarked to this second fan, “The request for a kiss is a bit challenging, but I will offer you $20,000 and cover the cost of a birthday dinner for you and your friends.”

Additionally, he assured both fans that he would arrange for their return with complimentary tickets. He mentioned, “If you wish, you can attend the show again. Both of you if you desire, we will secure tickets for you,” as reported by US Weekly.

Drake’s previous gestures of kindness

The rapper's thoughtful act during the Australian tour was not his only charitable endeavour. In March 2024, at a concert in Kansas City, Drake once again demonstrated his generosity by offering to settle the mortgage of a fan's late mother, a remarkable six-figure contribution that astonished the audience. He addressed the fan, saying, “You mentioned, ‘[Pay] off my mom’s house, rest in peace.’ Your mother has passed away? Very well. And you have … Oh, this is an outstanding balance right here. This is a significant amount of money,” as reported by Billboard.

He continued, “However, I will take care of your mother’s mortgage for you. This will come from me. Rest in peace to your mother. Hold on, wait. Rest in peace to Jennifer Schumer. Rest in peace. I love you.”
