Hina Khan was among the most cherished participants of Bigg Boss 11, ultimately securing the position of first runner-up in the reality show hosted by Salman Khan. Throughout her season, she earned the affectionate nickname Sher Khan from her supporters. Seven seasons later, Hina had the opportunity to reunite with the renowned Salman Khan on the stage of Bigg Boss 18, where she made a special appearance during Weekend Ka Vaar. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Hina shared her thoughts on this reunion with Salman.

Hina Khan expressed that her reunion with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 18 was 'lovely.' The actress recounted their initial meeting on stage, followed by an extended conversation in his chalet.

"I had the opportunity to meet him in his chalet, where we engaged in a lengthy discussion. He has been incredibly kind, and his encouragement meant a lot to me. We talked for about an hour, despite him being quite fatigued after filming two episodes. He remained on his feet throughout the show, yet he dedicated his time to me. He ensured he left the set having imparted strength to me," Hina shared.

The actress elaborated on how Salman Khan supported her during her challenging times. Hina is currently receiving treatment for cancer, having been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Discussing the motivation she received from Khan, Hina stated to OTTplay, "He shared numerous examples... (of how) others have overcome similar situations. It's alright. He inquired about my well-being and my treatment, asking for every detail. That was truly heartwarming."

Hina expressed that it was a touching experience to reconnect and engage with the Bollywood icon. She noted that Khan was generous with his time and attention towards her.

The actress elaborated on how Salman Khan supported her during her challenging times. Hina is currently receiving treatment for cancer, having been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. He inquired about my well-being and my treatment, asking for every single detail. That was very encouraging." Meanwhile, in terms of her professional endeavours, Hina is looking forward to the release of her upcoming web series, Griha Laxmi. She stars in the series alongside Chunky Panday, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Rahul Dev. The show is set to premiere on January 16 on Epic On. Regarding Bigg Boss 18, it is available for streaming on JioCinema and OTTplay Premium.
