Singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya and his wife Sonia Kapoor shared some fun moments on her podcast, The Sonia Kapoor Show, giving listeners a peek into their life together. Things got really funny when Sonia jokingly revealed Himesh's amusing habit of taking forever to get ready because he’s a bit obsessed with his own looks.

Himesh rolled with the punches, quipping back that Sonia was just using his name to up the podcast's ratings.

Jokes and playful banter

Himesh recently kicked off his wife Sonia’s podcast, The Sonia Kapoor Show. During their chat about his career, Sonia playfully poked fun at Himesh for his tendency to spend ages admiring himself in the mirror.

She quipped, “What do you love most about yourself? Besides the fact that you can stare at your reflection for four hours in the bathroom.”

Himesh shot back, “What are you talking about? You’re just trying to boost your show’s ratings by using my name!”

Sonia stood her ground, insisting she was just stating the truth. She even mentioned how he wakes up at 3 am to prepare for a 9 am flight. Himesh explained that he enjoys taking his time to get ready and doesn’t want to feel rushed.

Sonia couldn’t resist another jab, saying he does it just to have two hours in front of the mirror.

Himesh tied the knot with Sonia in 2018, following his divorce from his first wife, Komal.

Himesh Reshammiya's contributions to film

Himesh Reshammiya was recently seen in Badass Ravikumar, which hit theaters on February 7. The movie also starred Kriti Kulhari, Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever. Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, Badass Ravikumar is a musical action flick that serves as a spin-off of the 2014 film The Xposé and is the second part of The Xposé Universe. Unfortunately, it didn’t do too well at the box office.

Himesh is famous for his catchy tracks like Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Tandoori Nights.
