The Xpose franchise is set to launch a spin-off featuring Himesh Reshammiya's renowned character, Ravi Kumar, from the successful film 'The Xpose.' This new installment, titled Badass Ravi Kumar, is scheduled for release in theaters on February 7. The film has generated considerable excitement, thanks to its engaging visuals and lively musical numbers. Nevertheless, the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has recommended five modifications prior to its debut.

CBFC suggests changes to Badass Ravi Kumar

Recently, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) proposed five major modifications to Himesh Reshammiya's film, Badass Ravi Kumar. The Examining Committee approved the film on January 29, following requests for alterations such as the blurring of brand names associated with alcoholic beverages and the modification of visuals featuring the middle finger.

According to Bollywood Hungama, numerous sensual scenes faced significant censorship, with close-ups of women in bikinis being eliminated and visuals emphasizing breasts and cleavage being modified. Additionally, scenes depicting a man's hands moving suggestively over a woman's thighs and hips have also been adjusted.

In addition to these modifications, the depiction of graphic violence has been significantly reduced. A sequence featuring a man being dismembered by a wood chipper was modified. Furthermore, the term "bi*ch" has been silenced in the audio and removed from the subtitles to adhere to the established guidelines.

The film has been awarded a UA 16+ certification, with a total runtime of 141 minutes and 44 seconds, which translates to 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 44 seconds, following these alterations.

Box office clash with Loveyapa and Interstellar re-release

Himesh Reshammiya's film is set to premiere on the same date as Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's Loveyapa, alongside the re-release of Interstellar. Loveyapa serves as the debut for both Junaid and Khushi on the silver screen. In contrast, Interstellar is helmed by the renowned director Christopher Nolan.

Additionally, Badass Ravi Kumar, directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, boasts an impressive cast that includes Kirti Kulhari, Sunny Leone, Prabhudeva, and Sanjay Mishra. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 7.
