In a discussion with Pinkvilla, Himesh Reshammiya addressed the parallels between his character and Ranbir Kapoor's role in the film Animal. He remarked, “In fact, the chain-saw element is unique to this film and does not appear in any other production.”

Himesh further elaborated on the character's retro aesthetic, noting that his long hair contributes to this look. “While Animal is a contemporary film, there is an element of the beard and a traditional appearance that is currently in vogue, which creates a degree of similarity. I believe that if there is a resemblance to something positive, it should not be viewed as an issue,” he stated.
