Koel Mallick, known to prioritise her family above everything else, celebrated Bijaya Dashami with her close ones. She performed Devi Baran and Sindoor Khela. She wished Shubho Bijaya to her fans and commented, “This is the duty of all of us.”
Koel posted two videos on her social media. In one, she collaged several photos which showed her in Devi Baran mood, playing with her son Kabir, playing sindoor with her mother, and chatting with her father Ranjit Mallick.
In another video, Koel sent a message to his fans. She said, “Shubho Bijaya to all. My pranam to the elderly and lots of love to the youngsters. Today is a sad day, but let us console ourselves that it will happen again next year. All of you stay well, stay happy, and in peace. I pray for everyone’s mental wellness. Please be well and keep others well. This is our duty.” Many people wished her back.
Koel is going to be a mother for the second time. A few days back, Koel posted a photo and wrote, “Let me say this with pleasure that our family is getting bigger. Kabir is soon going to be the elder brother. Need your love and wishes at this time.”
Koel’s film, Ek Khunir Sondhane Mitin, was supposed to be released during this Puja. Directed by Arindam Sil, the film is the third instalment of the Mitin Mashi franchise.
