Chris Hemsworth was recently seen spending a day at the beach close to his opulent Australian residence. However, it was not merely the breathtaking scenery that drew attention; the noticeable absence of his distinctive wedding band has prompted curiosity. This development has led to speculation among friends and fans regarding the current state of his marriage to Elsa Pataky, particularly following the actress's candid remarks about challenges in their relationship.

Hemsworth spotted without his wedding ring

Last week, Hemsworth was seen at Byron Bay in Australia, where much attention was directed towards his physique. However, those familiar with the actor observed that he was not wearing his wedding ring. The 41-year-old is typically seen with a platinum wedding band adorned with polished black gems.

A source informed Radar Online, “He almost always wears his wedding band, and there has been considerable speculation among his acquaintances regarding the status of his marriage following Elsa's revealing remarks."

His choice to forgo the ring while spending time at the beach with one of his twin sons has sparked questions about his relationship with Pataky. Interestingly, he was seen wearing a different ring on his middle finger instead of the usual silver band.

Marriage woes between Hemsworth and Pataky

The absence of the wedding ring worn by the actor from Thor follows remarks made by Pataky last year regarding the "ups and downs" of their marriage. The couple, who wed in 2010, are parents to three children. In an interview with Hola! Spain, she remarked, “It’s not easy.” Speculation surrounding their relationship has grown, particularly after reports from Radar Online indicated that Hemsworth and Pataky had been spending considerable time apart.

In December 2023, the actor known for his role in The Avengers was notably missing during the family’s Christmas tree decoration, further fueling inquiries about their relationship. Pataky traveled to Japan with their sons in October, while Hemsworth visited Iceland with their daughter. Their separation continued into November, as the 48-year-old attended an awards ceremony in Spain, while Hemsworth was in Abu Dhabi with his brothers.
