Actor Srishty Rodes experienced a significant shift during her trip to Europe when she was admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia. She revealed that her health worsened, expressing uncertainty at one stage about her ability to return to India.

Srishty, who had been posting images from her travels on Instagram, recently provided a health update through the platform. She included multiple pictures and videos depicting her in a hospital setting.

"I felt it was important to share something genuine with all of you. Although I have been showcasing joyful experiences from my trip to Europe, there is a more challenging aspect of my journey that I have not yet revealed," Srishty expressed.

She remarked, "During my time in Amsterdam, I became severely ill with pneumonia, which affected me profoundly. My oxygen levels plummeted unexpectedly, leading to my hospitalization where I fought valiantly, fearful of whether I would return home. My health deteriorated to the point that my visa expired before I could depart. After enduring a lengthy battle, I eventually returned to Mumbai, but I am still in the process of recovery. Pneumonia requires considerable time to heal, and my doctors have indicated that it may take several months, yet I am determined to persevere."

The actor conveyed that she remains in a weakened state and is focused on regaining her health. "I am still feeling fragile, but I maintain hope and am actively working towards improvement. I wish to express my gratitude to everyone who reached out during my absence from social media. Your support has been invaluable to me. I am deeply thankful for all of you, and I will return stronger in due course," she stated.

Supporters express concern

Upon sharing her update, her supporters promptly expressed their concerns and extended their best wishes.

Anita Hassanandani commented, “Wishing you a swift recovery, dear.”

One follower remarked, “I hope you are feeling better now. However, I cannot help but wonder, who was capturing photos and videos during your difficult time?”

Another individual expressed, “Oh my goodness! My precious shining star! I truly lack the strength to scroll through these posts; I stopped at the third one. It is unbearable for me to see you in this state. I had assumed you were enjoying your best life in Europe. I am so sorry you are experiencing this. I wish you a quick recovery and will pray for your swift return to health. Sending you an abundance of love,” while another added, “Please recover soon, as it is not advisable to be out like this during winter in Europe.”

“Please take care of yourself and focus on regaining your health,” one user advised, while another wrote, "Make sure to look after yourself.”

Srishty has participated in various television series, including Yeh Ishq Haaye, Choti Bahu 2, Punar Vivah, Ishqbaaz, among others. Following her appearance on Bigg Boss 12, she also had a brief engagement with The Kapil Sharma Show.'
