About the film
Sanam Teri Kasam, a romantic drama, was originally released in 2016. Despite a substantial budget of ₹14 crore, the film did not resonate with audiences, earning only ₹9.1 crore at the box office and being deemed a commercial failure. This film marked the Bollywood debuts of both Harshvardhan and Mawra Hocane, telling a poignant love story with a tragic conclusion. The film was re-released in cinemas on February 7 and has been performing well.
According to Sacnilk, the film has achieved the highest weekend earnings for a Bollywood re-release, generating ₹3-3.25 crore on Monday, which brings its total collection to ₹18.50 crore, more than doubling its original lifetime domestic revenue.
