Actor Harshvardhan Rane is currently enjoying the renewed acclaim for his 2016 film, Sanam Teri Kasam, which has recently been re-released. He expresses his gratitude for the recognition he has received. Harshvardhan emphasizes that he has never harbored any resentment towards star children who may have an easier path in the industry.

He notes that many of these star kids have already faded from prominence.

Harshvardhan shares his views

In a discussion with India Today, Harshvardhan shared his insights regarding the issue of nepotism within the industry. When questioned about whether the ongoing discourse surrounding star kids affects his feelings about his own career path, he responded, "I am someone who prefers to document my thoughts rather than simply accept the prevailing opinions around me. When discussions arise about star kids receiving all the opportunities, I take note of their names and find that 8 out of 10 have already disappeared from the industry. Therefore, I cannot feel resentment when I analyze the situation and see that it is often outsiders who continue to secure significant roles. Their success is undeniable, and I cannot bring myself to complain about it."

He further stated, "This is not merely a positive affirmation; it is based on facts. I believe that whenever someone has doubts, they should take note. There are no biases or favoritism, only hard evidence. Not many star kids have sustained their careers, while it is the outsiders who are thriving."

Regarding his journey in Bollywood, the actor expresses a desire for the industry to recognize that if given a worthwhile project, he can effectively "convey a story." He aims to impress producers to the extent that they offer him the "warmest hug after the release of our film."

About Harshvardhan
