Bollywood star Gulshan Devaiah has collaborated with director Anurag Kashyap on projects like That Girl in Yellow Boots and the action series Bad Cop. Recently, he hosted an AMA on Reddit, sharing insights about his time working with Anurag and discussing the director's transition into acting.

When a Reddit user asked Gulshan about his experience working with Anurag on That Girl in Yellow Boots, he said, "He’s quite full of himself... but he’s charming and really trusts his actors. It was a fantastic experience collaborating with him as an actor. Still, he’s definitely full of himself, and NOW HE’S STEALING OUR JOBS."

For those who might not know, Anurag has expanded his career beyond directing and is now taking on acting roles. He recently wowed audiences with his villainous performance in the Tamil film Maharaja, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi. Following that, he appeared in the series Bad Cop alongside Gulshan, Harleen Sethi, and Saurabh Sachdeva. Anurag also had a significant role in Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai Part 2, released in 2024. His most recent acting project is the Malayalam action-comedy Rifle Club, featuring Hanumankind, Dileesh Pothan, and Vineeth Kumar in important roles.

He'll soon appear in the Telugu movie Dacoit: A Love Story, featuring Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh alongside him. The release date for the film hasn't been revealed yet.

In a recent chat with Hollywood Reporter India, Anurag shared his reasons for stepping into acting. He mentioned, "Next year, I plan to take a break from filmmaking. I want to unwind, recharge, and enjoy watching movies. This year was all about creating films and acting a lot. I had to organize my daughter's wedding, which is quite a task for an indie filmmaker. Now that she's married, I feel more at peace, and I’m ready to nourish my soul."

Gulshan was last spotted in the movie Ulajh, where he starred alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Roshan Mathew, and Adil Hussain. Unfortunately, the film didn't perform well at the box office. Although the actor hasn't revealed his next project yet, his film Hunterrr is scheduled to hit theaters again on April 4.
