Goutam Ghose’s India Italian film with Marco Leonardi and Chitrangada Singh to start festival run

Ace director Goutam Ghose started his Indo-Italian project with Italian actor Marco Leonardi and actress Cristina Donadio. The film saw a lot of interruptions due to the outbreak of Covid 19. Finally, the director completed the film. OTTplay reported that the director roped in Chitrangada Singh from India. Now it is all set for its festival run.
As per sources, the film might be screened at this year’s International Film Festival of India which will take place in Goa between November 20 and 28. Besides, the film may also be screened at the 30th Kolkata International Film Festival which will start on December 4.
With a working title Parikrama, the film was shot in Naples and Procida Island in Italy. Goutam, along with Jagannath Guha, teamed up with two Italian scriptwriters Amedeo Paganini and Sergio Scapagnini, and penned the script. The film is going to be in English, Hindi, and partly Italian.
Interestingly, Ghose’s actor Marco Leonardi played the teen years of Salvatore Di Vita in Giuseppe Tornatore’s iconic film, Cinema Paradiso. Goutam and his team completed the Indian leg of the shooting in 2022.
