Gisele Bündchen reportedly felt like she was always in Tom Brady's “shadow” throughout their 13 years of marriage, as per a Page Six article. Now, at 44, she feels more “free” with Joaquim Valente, whom she started dating in 2023, just a few months after her split from the NFL legend.

A source revealed that the former Victoria's Secret model “felt like she was living in Tom [Brady’s] shadow for quite a while.” Bündchen was married to the 47-year-old NFL star from 2009 until their split in 2022.

Despite the challenges, the insider mentioned that she is “thankful for the time” she had with Brady and feels “blessed” for their kids. They have a 15-year-old son, Benjamin, and a 12-year-old daughter, Vivian.

Brady also has a 17-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Recently, Bündchen became a mom of three after welcoming a son named River with her jiu-jitsu trainer, Valente, in February.

The insider noted that Bündchen “feels more liberated” with Valente. The couple was recently seen getting cozy on a yacht in Miami, marking their first outing since the birth of their child.

Bündchen is “really enjoying this new phase” of her life, as per the insider. During a laid-back Sunday, she was spotted sharing a kiss with Valente while soaking up the sun.

In the photos shared by the outlet, the fashion star wore a grey bikini top and white bottoms, while Valente sported black swim trunks. Their daughter was seen sunbathing on the boat, but their teenage son was not in attendance.

According to a previous report from Page Six, Brady was “shocked” to hear about his ex-wife's pregnancy. “Tom knew things were getting serious between Gisele and Joaquim, but he never thought they would be having a baby together,” a source revealed.
