Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film Nadaaniyan has been getting mostly negative reviews since it hit Netflix. Produced by Karan Johar, this film also marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan's eldest son, Ibrahim. Karan was at the trailer launch of Akaal, where he was joined by actor-director Gippy Grewal. In response to the criticism faced by newcomers, Gippy mentioned that it's just part of the industry, and the best approach is to keep pushing forward with their work.
What Gippy mentioned
At the trailer launch, Gippy shared, “When I first started out, a lot of people were saying, ‘What’s he going to do now?’ Back when we released Carry On Jatta, many were skeptical, but it ended up crossing 100 crores! So, I believe there’s nothing to worry about; these comments can actually motivate you.”
He continued, “These kids are new to the scene, and it’s possible that some people liked the film while others didn’t. When Saif Ali Khan released his first movie, I’m sure he faced criticism too, but now no one dares to say anything. I think these ups and downs are just part of the journey, and it’s not a big deal.”
