Currently I am: Done with promoting my movie Kill and now shooting for a new project.
High point in life: Getting introduced to Mira Nair and auditioning for A Suitable Boy. After multiple rounds and workshops, she called to say, “You are my Lata!”
Low point in life: Acouple of years ago, a few of my friends and siblings were moving out of the country, while I was still just ‘here’ and I was not sure if I was making the right decision. I felt left out and started filling out forms for various courses abroad. Glad I didn’t move.
On my playlist: Saiyaan, by Shuja Haider and Rachel Viccaji; Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se; Your Eyes, by Talwiinder.
One thing I would never buy: Fur or leather.
Last thing I ordered online: Pizza
Advice I would give my 18-year-old self: Hold on just a bit longer, it does get better.
My favourite subject in school: Biology.
I would swipe right on: A date that guarantees good food.
My secret skill: I can cry on cue. I may or may not have used that to my advantage. Ssh!
A superpower I wish I had: Knowing the right thing to say at the right time.
My favourite Sunday memory: Sunday breakfast with the family. Parathas, homemade butter. A big pot of Maggi once in a while.
My most star-struck moment: Meeting Vicky Kaushal at the premiere of Kill. I’ve been a fan since Masaan. There was everything-- internal screaming, jitters, a tremor in my voice.
My favourite bad habit: Crying when I watch an emotional scene.
