Currently I am: Playing Dr Preeta on Zee TV’s show Kundali Bhagya.

High point in life: Moving from Delhi to Mumbai in 2005.

Low point in life: There are plenty, but luckily, I live with my parents. They keep my spirits high.

On my playlist: Hanuman Chalisa, guided meditation by Sadguru, Peter DeRose and Bert Shefter’s adaptation of The Lamp Is Low.

One thing I would never buy: The opinion of anyone telling me that I can’t do it.

Today I am craving: Edamame dim sum.

The last thing I ordered online: A cross-body phone holder.

App I check before bed: Instagram.

Advice I would give my 18-year-old self: There will be heart breaks. Don’t take them seriously. The ones who stay are the ones you were meant to be with.

My favourite subject in school: Maths, music and dance.

I would swipe right on: Watching a sunset.

My secret skill is: I just always find out the truth.

A superpower I wish I had: Actual power to get things done in this country. I’d use it for social causes.

My favourite Sunday memory: Watching Mahabharata on TV with the whole family.

My plans for next Sunday: Hopefully, I will have a day out at sea with my husband.

My most star-struck moment: When Amitabh Bachchan mentioned me by name in one of his interviews after Nishabd released in 2007.

My favourite bad habit: Food. I just can’t say no.

If I could travel back or forward in time: I would like to witness how humans were created and what the world looked like at that point.

The best thing about fame: You can light up so many faces with just a hello.

The worst thing about fame: It is addictive.
