Currently, I am: Working on myself. Resolutions give you a new motive, a new energy, a new inspiration, to work on what you do not like about yourself or your environment.

High point in life: Debuting as an actor in 2012 with the TV show Surveen Guggul Topper of the Year, and entering Bollywood in 2022 in Goodbye.

Low point in life: Losing a family member and a friend to Covid-19.

On my playlist: Pehle Bhi Main, by Vishal Mishra; Raj Shekhar from the movie Animal; the Far From Weak podcast; Ben Frost’s compositions.

One thing I’d never buy: I’ll buy everything at some point.

Today I am craving: Momos.

Last thing I ordered online: Plum cake.

Advice I would give my 18-year-old self: Dare to dream. Keep going ahead.

My favourite subject in school: Geography.

I would swipe right on: Originality.

My secret skill is: Singing. I love to sing Atif Aslam songs.

A superpower/magic tool I wish I had: Time travel.

My favourite Sunday memory. Playing cricket with my friends on huge grounds in Delhi. I love bowling and was very good at it.

My plans for next Sunday: It’s Cheat Day, so pakoras, vada pao and chole bhature.

My most star-struck moment: Meeting Shah Rukh Khan for the first time on the Happy New Year movie. He has always been my inspiration.

My favourite bad habit: I’m a perfectionist. I take my own time and get lost in that process.

If I could travel back or forward in time, I would…: Go back to the ’90s, to live life without smartphones.

The best thing about fame: The love and adulation you receive from fans that we take for granted.

The worst thing about fame: There is a certain kind of responsibility with fame. Young people are easily influenced. So, a celebrity must take a minute, and then comment carefully.
