George Clooney's political misstep is putting a strain on his marriage: ‘Amal won’t tolerate it for much longer’.

George Clooney has apparently been dealing with a series of issues that have created tension between him and his wife, Amal Clooney. Sources say that his public backing of Kamala Harris during her unsuccessful presidential run hasn’t gone over well.
“George really thought his support for Kamala would make a big difference, but it just made him seem like another arrogant celebrity,” an insider shared with Radar Online.
“His piece urging President Joe Biden to step aside didn’t go over well either. Honestly, George’s views aren’t as influential as he believed, and now he’s left feeling pretty embarrassed.”
Amal is reportedly losing her patience with George’s political blunders. “His ego has taken a hit, and he’s been in a bad mood. Amal isn’t going to tolerate this for much longer,” the source added.
George and Amal need to face this new challenge as a team.
George is gearing up for his Broadway debut in a stage version of his 2005 film, Good Night, and Good Luck, which is set to kick off in early 2025. This means the 63-year-old actor will be away from Amal and their 7-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, for six months while he’s in New York.
“George is super excited about this chance to perform on Broadway, something he’s never done before, and it’ll help him take his mind off the recent political drama,” a source shared. “But it does mean he’ll be away for quite a while with all the rehearsals and shows.”
Amal and the kids are currently living in Europe, and the insider noted, “Moving to Manhattan and keeping them out of the public eye while protecting their identities would be really tough. Plus, Amal’s job often keeps her in Europe, which is another big factor.”
“They’ve already faced a time of being apart, and it wasn’t great for their marriage,” the insider added.
“They’ve worked through issues before, and they’ll need to face this new challenge together,” the source wrapped up.
