Pradeep Ranganathan, who became popular with Love Today, is now focused on his next project, Dragon. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, this film is set to release in February 2025. The first single from the movie, 'Rise Of Dragon,' has just dropped, and we couldn't help but notice that the talented filmmaker and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon is joining Pradeep on the dance floor.

The song "Rise of the Dragon" has been released

Not long ago, the team behind Pradeep Ranganathan's film Dragon dropped a catchy track called Rise Of Dragon. The lyrical video offers a glimpse of the action, featuring what looks like professionals busting a move in a corporate office setting. We also get some behind-the-scenes moments during the song, which is performed by Anirudh Ravichander, Nadisha Thomas, and the El Fé Choir. Leon James composed the music for Rise Of Dragon, while Vignesh Shivan wrote the lyrics.

The song gives off a vibe of an office environment, with Pradeep Ranganathan taking on the role of a team lead and Gautham Vasudev Menon as his superior. The highlight of the track is definitely GVM, who jumps onto the dance floor, showing off his moves alongside Pradeep and a group of background dancers.

Dragon squad

The movie is crafted and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who gained fame for the romantic comedy Oh My Kadavule. Anupama Parameswaran is reportedly taking on the female lead role in Dragon alongside Pradeep Ranganathan. The film also features Gowtham Vasudev Menon in an important part, along with a talented cast that includes KS Ravi Kumar, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, and Thenappan.

The movie is brought to life by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the AGS Entertainment (P) banner, which previously supported Vijay and Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time.

It'll be intriguing to see what kind of film Dragon ends up being, especially since Pradeep Ranganathan is both the director and writer, having made his mark with Comali and Love Today as his initial projects.
